V8 & Friday Exit:

Cordial invitation to the exhibition:
7.7 – 14.7. @ Osijek, Croatia

On Tuesday, 7 July 2015 at the Cultural Center of Eurodom in Osijek, Croatia, will be held POPUP21, a project called Projektraum Donau which is triggered by Donauschwäbisches Zentralmuseum Ulm in Germany, and arts organizations (NGO) POPUP and V8. Inspired by the idea of networking project is joined by art organizations from Germany, Austria, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Serbia. This large project has the idea of networking independent culture throughout the Danube region, to create the necessary contacts, exchange of ideas and the promotion of the current production of art whose time is yet to come. In a span of one year NGO’s will host and be hosted in some of these countries, and meet at the symposiums. As a representative of the Croatia, POPUP was already presented in Timisoara (Romania), and now has the opportunity to present artistic approaches of V8 from Karlsruhe, Germany, and Friday Exit from Vienna, Austria, within the program ”Osijek Summer of Culture”.

V8 platform is working for ten years in Karlsruhe (Germany) and represents the artistic positions of predominantly young artists in Germany, but also internationally. Friday Exit, from 2012, operates as an open collective of Vienna (Austria) in cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Both NGO’s are engaged in the research of contemporary art practice and represent young artists, in an attempt in evolution of established art forms and approaches.

The exhibition is open till 11.07.2015., during working hours from 17.00h to 21.00h.
